Information

Trójgarb is a characteristic peak in the Wałbrzych Mountains in Lower Silesia, located between Szczawno-Zdrój and Kamienna Góra. It owes its name to three peaks of similar height (778-, 757- and 738-m above sea level). The observation tower on Trójgarba mountain was put into use at the end of 2018. The building is 27 meters high and has as many as five viewing terraces suspended at different heights. The tower has a very unusual structure as it was built on the basis of a triangle. The layout of the stairs and viewing terraces have been designed in a similar way. The use of the triangle in the design of the tower on Trójgarba has a symbolic meaning - it shows the three municipalities that initiated its construction: the Czarny Bór municipality, which, together with partners, Stare Bogaczowice and Szczawno Zdrój, secured an EU grant and created the Eco-museum around the Trójgarb massif and the neighboring Chełmiec - including the highest observation tower in the Sudetes. 67 tons of steel, some concrete and 50 cubic meters of larch wood were used to build the tower. The area around the tower is well developed. There is a large wooden shelter, a place for a fire, fancy wooden benches and tables, railings for bicycles.
