Information

The Ślęża Massif (Polish Masyw Ślęży) is a group of hills built of granite and gabbra. Is located less than 40 km to the south-west from Wrocław, near the town of Sobótka. Ślęża is the highest mountain of the massif. It is 718 m above sea level. Ślęża (along with other peaks: Radunia, Hills of Oleszeńskie, Hills of Kiełczyńskie and Janska Mountain) is located within the borders of the Ślężański Landscape Park. Within the Ślężański Landscape Park, apart from valuable natural areas, there are also towns with a long history with valuable religious buildings, palaces and parks. Visitors will find chapels, pagan stone sculptures and medieval penitential crosses here. The area of the Ślęża Massif is relatively well developed in terms of tourism. There are many designated and marked hiking trails, including two archaeological trails (marked with stylized Silesian bears). There is also a designated bicycle path.
