Uroczysko Siedmiu Stawów was built in the former Gola Dzierżoniowska Castle. The local castle was built in the 16th century and as one of the few buildings it has retained its style, typical of the Renaissance. Gola Dzierżoniowska Castle survived the war without major damage. Since the last owners, the von Prittwitz und Gaffron family, left the castle, it slowly fell into ruin. From 2000, intensive work began to restore the castle to use, and at the same time to preserve its former appearance and construction elements, typical of the 16th century. Currently, there is a luxurious hotel with a spa. The hotel has an extensive leisure offer for demanding guests. The interior of the castle houses the first SPA in Poland by L'Occitane, among others treatment rooms, saunas, a massage studio, but also a VIP and relaxation area with a panoramic terrace and a wellness bar. The modern glazed swimming pool with a view of the green surroundings is also unique. The castle is situated among Lower Silesian fields and forests, in a park with an area of 12 hectares, in which visitors can admire numerous picturesque ponds.
