Kamienna Góra is a hill in Gdynia, 52 m high, and the central point of the district of the same name (Polish: Kamienna Góra Punkt Widokowy, Gdynia). On Kamienna Góra there is a viewpoint from which visitors can admire the panorama of the city, the port and the Bay of Gdańsk. The road to Kamienna Góra leads by stairs or a free cable car adapted to the needs of the elderly and the disabled. The lower station of the cable car is located at the revitalized Grunwaldzki Square, next to the well-known and recognizable Gdynia Film Center. The journey takes 2 minutes. On the square there is a 25-meter cross, placed there in the 1990s, and a monument to the Defenders of the Coast in 1939. The beautiful Maria and Lech Kaczyński Park stretches around (revitalized in 2020, as part of which a new open-air stage, elevator, toilets and green plantings were created).
