Walcownia - Museum of Zinc Metallurgy presents the history of the development of zinc metallurgy in Upper Silesia. The history of zinc processing is presented on the basis of a unique technological line for the production of zinc sheets. The technological line consists of, among others melting furnaces, a heating furnace for zinc plates, a casting carousel, roughing and finishing mills as well as sheet metal shears. During the cyclically organized "Machine Start-ups", vehicles are started and presented to visitors. In addition, to the thrust and motorcycle exhibition, you will find in the museum an exhibition of propulsion sources, i.e. a collection of Jacob Pepping engines (including marine engines, internal combustion engines).
