Information

The Warsaw Fotoplastikon is located in the pre-war Hoser tenement house on Aleje Jerozolimskie 51 and belongs to the Warsaw Uprising Museum. The photoplasticon is a device that allows viewers to to see changing three-dimensional photographs. It is the only one in Poland and one of the few active devices of this type in the world. The Fotoplastikon collection includes over 7,000 three-dimensional photographs - from photos documenting exotic travels around the world at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, through Warsaw in various historical periods, to contemporary works by famous authors. It is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00. Museum lessons are held here on Monday and Tuesday.
