Information

The Zaskalnik Waterfall is a charming place in Szczawnica in the Sewerynówka district, away from the hustle and bustle of the center. It is a somewhat forgotten and not very popular place, although it is considered one of the main attraction of Szczawnica. The Zaskalnik Waterfall forms a five-meter threshold on the Potok Sopotnicki. Water falling from the height of the second floor over the decades carved a large basin, creating a natural, small pool in a charming neighborhood. The depth of the waterfall makes it perfect for soaking your feet on hot days or for a cool and pleasant splash, refreshing while hiking. Its waters are crystal clear, and in sunny weather it becomes a beautiful place to spend some time in. You can get to the Zaskalnik Waterfall on foot and by bike. Tourists should follow the blue tourist trail leading from Szczawnica to Przehiba. Cyclists can choose the black trail that runs along the Sopotnicki Potok and the Jastrzębie Stream and starts in Szczawnica. At the Zaskalnik Waterfall, you can relax and take advantage of a small restaurant located nearby. In addition, there is also a horse stud in the vicinity.
