Domus Mater is a three-star modern hotel, placed in the old building of the former monastery in Cracow’s district Podgórze. It provides its guests with tranquillity and homelike atmosphere in the middle of the vibrant city that never sleeps. The facility is located only 4 km from the Cracow’s TAURON Arena and the International Exhibition and Convention Centre EXPO Cracow. In the vicinity of the hotel, its guests will find also one of the most interesting places which is Oskar Schindler’s Factory.

The hotel offers accommodation places in 37 twin (which can be used also as single) and studio en-suite rooms. Additionally, for guests’ comfort, it is possible to use extra beds in 2 rooms to make them triple. All the rooms are bright, neatly and stylishly decorated. Standard equipment of each room includes: a table with chairs, a flat screen TV, a desk, a telephone and towels. Moreover, all rooms have private bathrooms with showers, toiletries and hairdryers. The superior suite consists of two separate rooms with some sitting area and is elegantly equipped with fine furniture. Guests can also opt for one of three studios: a green, blue or lavender one. Each of them consists of two rooms for five persons in total. Free access to the Internet is available in the whole building. The hotel has some disabled facilities.

Apart from accommodation space, the hotel puts at disposal some conference area. There are two modernly equipped rooms, able to accommodate 30-100 persons, as well as two smaller studies for more intimate meetings. Some catering services are also available here.

Domus Mater has its own restaurant ‘Pod Aniołami’ which specializes in Polish cuisine. Breakfast here is served in the way of buffet on a daily basis from 7:00 to 10:00. Two-course or three-course dinner is also available. Furthermore, guests can also order some refreshments in the cosy café placed next to the hotel desk. Also, guests can take advantage of a chapel, a library, a kid’s corner and a small shop with souvenirs and books. One of the greatest asset of the place are a terrace and a picturesque garden with numerous charming lanes and a pond where guests can take a deep breath and relax.

Reception desk is open all hours. Check-in is from 14:00, checkout time is 12:00. A luggage room is complimentary.

The nearest bus stop is only within 50 m from the hotel and the nearest tram stop within 300 m. PKP (Main Railway Station) is 4 km away, and the airport – 15 km away. Buses are allowed to drive directly to the hotel and park up in the parking lot (additionally paid).
Deposit from guests on the spot is not required.
