LINC 2020

It has become our pleasant tradition that every year we are privileged to organise the trip of our doctors to LINC conference. LINC 2020, the Leipzig Interventional Course featured state-of-the-art lectures on interdisciplinary intervention practice and as every year numerous live cases have been performed from leading interventional centres. This year we were happy to offer our group members accommodation only 700 m from the conference venue. All our guests were accommodated in 4 star Sachsenpark-Hotel. This modern accommodation is located directly opposite Leipzig's exhibition centre and 8 km from the city centre. A tram stop is just a 10-minute walk away from the hotel, and with public transport Leipzig city centre can be reached in around 20 minutes. Leipzig is one of the most popular tourist destinations in eastern Germany, and thanks to its rich cultural and musical heritage, is regularly cited as one of the most liveable cities in Europe. For tourists, it is a very manageable city, with many things to do right in the compact Old Town. It’s main attractions include: Old City Hall and Market, St. Thomas Church, St. Nicholas Church, Battle of the Nations Monument, Maddlerpassage and Naschmarkt, Zoo, Botanical Garden, Museum of Fine Arts, Coffe Baum Coffee Museum, Mendelssohn House, Cotton Mill, Grassi Museum and New Townhall.
