Gdynia is a young, dynamic and dynamically developing city. It is called "the city of the sea and dreams", because it was created on the wave of joy of the Polish nation for the independence regained after 123 years of partition. It was also one of the most important Polish investments of interwar period. This is why, nowadays, it is great example of modernity and functionality movements in architecture. Gdynia, open to the sea, offers one of the most magnificent city beaches and also interesting Aquarium and Emigration Museum. If you happen to visit Tri-city area, it is a must to spend at least one day there. Find out Gdynia highlights with ITS Poland DMC.

I wasn't sure about a visit in Emigration Museum, I think the name Emigration Museum is misleading. In reality it was a fantastic journey through Polish history, excellent value, amazing exhibits in an amazing building. Well worth a visit. Thank you ITS Poland for discovering it for me!
Emigration Museum was really modern and truly outstanding. A complete overview of emigration history of Polish People with modern and humanistic dimension from ancient history till modern time. A memorial inviting for tolerance in nowadays Europe. A real must see. I also enjoyed fish watching with a view to the sea in Gdynia Aquarium although it is rater small and all the magnificent all cars in Automotive Museum. All in all, a very interesting day.
