Still, it is definitely a fascinating one and showing totally different face of the country which is regarded by wider masses as a typically agricultural region of Europe. Katowice and its vicinity give amazing insight to more industrial and urbanized type of Poland. With multitude of technical monuments and contemporary tourist centres, it is the place definitely worth discovering.

The Gliwice Radio Tower (Polish: Radiostacja Gliwicka) is a transmission tower in the Szobiszowice district of Gliwice, Upper Silesia. Guido coal mine is situated in Zawiercie at 93 3 Maja Street which is about 18 km from Katowice and 96 km from Kraków. In the mine tourists can visit 3 levels: 170 m below ground surface, 320 m and extreme trail 355 m underground. At 320 level we can also visit K8 zone with conference rooms, concert area and a pub.
