The Jan is a cosy, elegant, three-star hotel, placed in the historic 600-year-old tenement house in the very heart of the Cracow’s Old Town. It is the facility where modernity is combined with traditions of the historic place. Located merely 50 m from the largest Market Square in Europe, it is a great place for all travellers who look for a comfortable accommodation nearby the most important place of interest in Cracow, including the Cloth Hall or the Wawel Royal Castle.
The hotel provides accommodation in 31 bright and air-conditioned rooms, including single rooms, double ones and family quadruple rooms. For greater convenience, it is possible to use extra beds in 8 rooms to make them for triple-use. Stylishly decorated rooms with fine furniture will definitely come up to expectations of even the most demanding guests. Each room includes a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and towels and TV with satellite channels, fridge, safe, kettle and free access to Wi-Fi. Both the building and the rooms are entirely accessible to disabled guests.

On the ground floor, there is a breakfast room, surrounded by plenty of various plants and exotic trees. Breakfast here is served on a daily basis from 7:00 to 10:00. The hotel does not provide lunches or dinners. The dining room can be used also for small conferences, business meetings or events of various kinds. Guests are also welcome to take advantage of the Alcatraz bar, also situated on the ground floor and in the basement as well as a hotel lobby.

Reception desk is opened on 24/7 basis. Check-in is from 14:00, check-out until 12:00. Luggage room is available.

The hotel is placed ca. 500 m from PKP/PKS (main railway/bus station). Buses are not allowed to drive directly to the hotel. Instead, they can stop ca. 400 m from the facility. However, there is no parking lot for them nearby.

Deposit from the guests on the spot is not required.
